Victorinox Forged Professional 8" Slicer (7.7203.20G) 
The Victorinox Forged Professional 8" Slicer is the same length as the 8" Chef's, but features a lighter weight blade with a thinner cross section to make this knife easier to use as a slicer but still usable as a general-purpose knife in the kitchen. The thinner blade makes the 8" Slicer much less likely to wedge on deeper cuts, and the blade has a much more general-purpose shape than specialized tools such as the 10" Granton Edge Slicer. The balance of the 8" Slicer is neutral for control while slicing. Like all Victorinox Forged Professional knives, the 8" Slicer features a high-carbon stainless steel blade, hot drop-forged construction, ice tempering, bolsterless edge, full-tang construction, and ergonomic handle design.
