D90 - Upgraded Oil Cooler Lines?
I saw a product on the ECR website for upgraded oil cooler lines (the upgrade apparently includes re-routing them away from the manifold as well). They claim it reduces risk of an engine bay fire in the event of a failed line.

Has anyone here undertaken such an upgrade? Any opinions on the idea?

Hi Nadir,

As a customer of ECR for more than 10 years now (hard to believe actually its been that long), the work Mike does is really top notch.

Blueboy, my 109, was built by ECR along with a few other Rovers I've had in the past and the work is just hard to believe.

So from a product aspect, it will be very good. Kinda like dealing with EE only in a different area.

As to the need - 110s/90s catching on fire is unfortunately true and you probably saw the pics on Mike's site.

Anything one can do to help avoid this from happening imho is well worth it.

If I still had my D90, for sure I would be doing this.

Hope this helps somewhat.
