You should read his new rebuttals. He basically bashes the scarcity of the east coast wheeling venues andpoints out how difficult the western terrain is. He goes on to poiunt out that he really never used certain accroutrements such as a rack, lights and what not.

Doesn't make sense. Wheeling in the desert I'd want and need a rack. I'd think that lights would be an excellent addition to anyone's equipement and safety travelling overland.

He goes on to say how hard core the desert is and that no one will be able to recover your vehicle but then stupidly says he doesn't need a winch. Or a rack. Or lights.

This guy is more than clueless.
