Sometimes it's nice to be off the ground

Andrew did not say why he's looking at a camp trailer, so I can't comment on if a trailer would/wouldn't be a good solution for him.

For me, there is nothing wrong with a tent. I've spent many nights in a one. Many in a bivi sack. Many under a tarp. And quite a number out in the open too. I've even spent a night in a snowfield wrapped in an emergency blanket, but I digress. (And for the record, those blankets really suck.)

But I have a camp trailer too. Just another tool really, that has its time and place. Living in the wet pacific northwest you can appreciate being off the ground sometimes. And they can make base camp outings more enjoyable as well.
