snap-on at a concert hall

Snap-on fans: look what I'm putting into a concert hall project, as a piano storage device.
http://buy1.snapon.com/catalog/Pro.a...e=snapon-store

We're going to use these at the rear of a big storage room, to store their concert grands up off the floor, with another piano rolled underneath.

The owners actually bought the idea.

Oh man, that's awesome. I can't believe the owners went for that one. If they only knew.....

Next thing you know, the blind piano tuner is going to be using Snap-on wrenches to tune the instruments.

snap-on at the concert hall

Should be fun. Will do my due diligence tomorrow and call Snap-on and discuss this with them: see if they have any concerns.
We've seen these lifts holding/storing cars over night with a vehicle parked underneath: a grand piano can't be heavier than a 6,000 pd vehicle.

that is just too funny. why reinvent the wheel when you have snapon... LOL.

i always believe that in design, appropriateness is crucial...
david, your use of snapon is appropriateness at it's best...

You're right. The heaviest Steinway I could find was 990lbs.
