Time for removal (update)

so, after detailing the dII over the weekend i stepped back, took a long look, and realized it looked okay, yet weird. something looked strange. i mean i drive it everyday but suddenly it jumped out at me. it's the f-ing fender flares! i guess i was sort of oblivious to it for the last few years, but now they look really awkward. guess what i'll be peeling off this weekend...

consider them gone

aside from removing the screws underneath, what else is holding them on?

All your trails must be 10 feet wide out there on the left coast, I'll leave on anything that saves me some paint, style be damned.

Don't worry.

Ho had the other forms of protection for the paint.

Ouch! Looks like rock rash? We carry a chain saw to cut off the real can opener branches and remove the fallen trees.

saving your paint?

paint schmaint, it's not a concours car, that's why i bought chawton white. you can't tell from the photos or 20 feet away, but it's deeply pinstriped from rocksliders to roof rails. not to mention, the flares i pulled off were set number two. the tops of the first set faded to white less than a year after purchase.

al, lose 'em already. remember, you're only one block over and i have strong fingers.
