IPF H4's

With the IPF H4 bulbs, like the ones EE sells, is the ARB HD wiring harness required or recommended? Also, due to the output of these lights, are they legal for on-road use?

The X51s are 60w/80w.

ARB claims that is the highest wattage that can be used without upgrading the headlight circuit. I don't know if this is correct or not.

I doubt the X51s are street legal.

Between the Hella H4's and the X51s, is there a significant difference in light output?

X51s are considerably brighter. The light is also white in color. But there is no cheese blue tint on the bulbs.

The Hella H4s are yellowish white, like standard halogens.

I was considering upgrading to the IPF H4.

What are the X51?
