Omega Moon Watch Question

Hey Guys-

Just got a new Speedmaster from the wife for Xmas-
Had a question about the resting place for the big second hand. When I reset the second hand - it rests at the 1st hash off of 12 o'clock - seems it should rest at 12 exactly no? Is this normal- I know it's not a big deal- i'm just anal about this stuff. Cheers and Happy Holidays.

Try pulling the crown out and press in the top "pusher". On Navitimers this will advance the hand a second forward. Just keep pushing until it is centered at 12.

Not sure about Danny's suggestion, it may work. But I do know that the Speedy Pro's center stopwatch seconds hand should rest and reset to straight up 12 o'clock. Your AD can advise you on it and perhaps a local watch maker can adjust for you.

Welcome to the SMP club, you've got a classic beauty!

My AD had a hard time seeing what I was saying (it's 1/5 of a second off)- Said it was within spec- Half the people I show can't see that it's off. I tried Danny's fix to no avail. It's miniscule really- just wasn't sure if it was something I should address- Maybe I'll bring it to a local watch guy- any recommends in LA area? Thanks
