I had lunch with my friend Brian today and his friend Marco was in town to pick up his new 90 import. He made a trip over to Italy to hunt for trucks and this is what he came back with:



When I first saw it, I thought it was a nice resto job, but I was wrong: this truck is factory original. Kept in a garage by an old guy who bought it new from the dealer.



It has the 2.5TD:



Original spare:



Don't let Grandma's patio furniture seat covers fool you--under those covers are seats as nice as they were when the truck rolled out of the factory.



The tub:



I don't think this guy ever even put the spare on the bonnet.

Unfortunately, the original tires are gone. I hope Marco can score a new set somehow.

That's a beautiful 90. Is your friend getting it registered and licensed for WA?

I think his plan is to register it in Oregon where he lives. It's an original spec 25+ year old motor so it shouldn't be a problem for him.
