SD Roof Rack for the D90

Managed to get one of the just-made SD roof racks imported by ECR! These are pictures from ECR's facility - not my truck in the photos.

This route was more expensive than the Urban Offroad copy, but it's also free of the rust or broken welds associated with the (very) few originals that occasionally show up on LRX or other for-sale listings.

I got one, too. I hope they hurry up and get here. I just found out that I'm going off to my Army Officer training at Fort Benning in a month and I'll need to get it mounted before that trip.

Are you going to do a John Lee starboard for yours? I would like to use Rob's suggestion and have a piece cut with a water jet, if I can find somebody to draw it up in a CAD app.

Good luck at OCS, Chris!

Clue me in - what's a "John Lee starboard"?

Good luck indeed! You'll be in my neighborhood soon so I hope you keep in touch. Drop me a line when you get underway.

Thanks, guys. Fortunately, I don't have to go through OCS; I commissioned two weeks ago. I will have to go through some basic Officer leadership courses and my Officer Basic Course. Looks like about 12 weeks of fun.

Nadir, if you decide to go the starboard route, we should collaborate on a template.
