Wiring Hella 4000 Fogs to factory 2004 DII Switch

Hi all, elementary wiring question, but I need help with it. I want to wire my Hella 4000 fogs to the existing 2004 Disco factory switch and wires for the factory fog lights that used to be in the front bumper.

Hella pigtails have 3 wires. Brown is ground, Blue is hot, and yellow is "city lights" I've been told. I've not yet cut off the factory plug end of the wiring that used to connect the factory fogs so I don't know how many wires are stubbed out there.

Anyone do this before and care to shed some light on the issue for me (pardon the pun)?....

Thanks in advance!

Yeah, yellow is the running light found on some 4000 models.

there should be 2 wires for each factory fog lamp. hopefully one of them is black. if so, put the hella brown to the factory black, and blue to the other one.

Will do. Finally, do you guys recommend a specific wire connection type of just any old weatherproofed bullet connector and wire cover?

Edit: Job finished in 30 minutes with extra time taken to heat seal and wrap the wires in sheathing for that factory look. Thanks for the help guys!
