The 321 is a gorgeous movement, but that display caseback looks so wrong.

What a fail. Top Gear, Land Rover, Accuracy International, and Schmidt & Bender, and all we get is some lame destruction video where people tear up shit for degenerate entertainment. And it ends with the not-so-clever engine starting up after having been shot up with a .50.

If I were one of the shooters, I would have thrown an errant shot at the engine if only to stop this lame video in its tracks. I can guarantee you that the engine wouldn't start. Then what would the asshole producers do?

Cesar,

You posted that RRC being used as a stationary engine to "Classless" and you throw that surplus Gwagen up here.

I think you've got it all backwards.

That Shitter-Pipe Classic is more Classless than that Moo-Special G-Wagen. We all can see that.

No, it's not.

You're under the mistaken impression that any Land Rover is classless compared to any other make. I hate to tell you, but there are more terrible Land Rovers out there than any of us would ever care to see.
Furthermore, that Gwagen doesn't have a backyard paint job, it's an ex-military vehicle. Mercedes has manufactured the G under contract for decades. Service like that is one of the qualities that can make a vehicle classless. Hacking apart a truck and turning it into a generator is not.

Maybe if you look a little more closely you'll see what's actually in the pictures you post and you can stop with the bad photoshops and fake Camel Trophy.

To me a classless truck is one i'd drive to the trails as well as to the theater.

Neither the exmod G nor the shitter pipe Range fit that description.

Luca Paolini is a great rider, but he has to drop that beard. The helmet and glasses aren't helping either. He looks like a rodeo clown.

In the 80s, the beard, helmet, and glasses were hallmarks of a fred:

Many bike shops had the "NO FREDS" bottles and tee shirts, and they always depicted some guy with beard, glasses, helmet, mirror, and a bug in his teeth. These guys also loved to wear colored and/or paneled riding shorts. Usually they rode with a club with "Wheelmen" in the name, e.g., "The Santa Monica Wheelmen". It's hard to believe that all of that fred matter is now hip somehow and the best riders in the world are now freds with advertising on their asses.

How many bearded helmet glasses and paneled shorts do you see in this pic?:

Or here?:

No way. No fucking way.

Every time I see this mustache retro cred build stuff, I want to pull my hair out. Every single one of these mustache builds that I've seen was total disaster. It was built by some hipster fuck who wasn't even riding bicycles when these bikes were around, so he has no idea how to set these machines. These bikes remind me of those fake Camel Trophy builds where the car is painted sandglow and everything else is wrong like ARB bumpers, rooftop tents, Hella 4000s, rock sliders, tinted windows, alloy wheels, etc. because these guys are who stupid they can't tell the difference.

Look at the rear cable routing on that mustache build. Not only does that routing look terrible, but does the bar even turn right on this bike? And look how the housing is going to chew up the beautiful Ace of Clubs. That's wrong.

Everything on this machine pisses me off. Even the white housings and white saddle piss me off.

I gotta take a chill pill. I'M PISSED.

Another retro cred disaster:

It's bad enough that he's playing with toe straps when he doesn't even know what they are, but the guy can't even figure out that the Eddy Merckx logo, markings on the buckle, and screw on the toestrap button are all upside down.

Reminds me of the brilliant curator at the HK museum:

You can see the damn literature with the names and photos of the pistols. It's right there. Figure it out.

I'm calling myself out.

Not only have I bought a Toyota, but I put an awning on it. I can't even say the truck came that way. I added the awning.

...and I kind of love it. I'm more ExPo than I knew.

Don't pretend that that's something new-you had your cheap "check out my build awning" previously.

Ill admit that I now have awning envy. And if that's Expo then so is having a fridge in your truck.

I haven't fallen so far as to install shelving though.
