Rear Parking Sensor with 265/75/16 tire

This weekend I installed the RoverConnection spare tire relocator and placed a 265/75/16 tire on the carrier. Unfortunately the rear parking control senors pick up the larger tire.

I used the "bolt-on" method vs the "cut the factory wheel studs" method. My question does anyone know if I went with the "cut the factory wheel studs" method this would provide enough clearance so the rear parking control senors would not pick up the larger tire?

oops.

how about reversing the spare carrier instead of bolting on that adapter?

I wonder if that will work or if the parking sensor will pick up the larger tire no matter what.

I was thinking worse case maybe disable that one sensor right underneath the tire.
