RRC Radio Removal

Hi All: I need to check the in-line fuse behind the factory radio on my 94 classic Range Rover. Anyone know how to remove the radio head unit from the dashboard?
Cheers.

European DIN chassis radios usually require a special tool to remove the radio from mounting location. This is usually either a two-pronged affair which slides in on either side or a flat blade which slides in either side. Remove any trim from around the radio and look to see if there is two small round holes located on the outside edges or a flat slot.

The tool is available at most stereo stores, Radio shack, etc.

Thanks for the info Greg. There are two small holes, one at each end of the radio face. I tried poking a pointed object and a small screwwdriver down there but no luck. Maybe I'll take the truck to a stereo shop and see if they will sell me the tool.

Put a shirt/coat hanger wire down each hole then slide the radio straight out. Works great for me.
