Michelin XPS users, how do you like them?

I'm considering the XPS and it seems as if no one ever talks about them. There are pages and pages of opinions on BFGs, Badyears, Etc. They are a little expensive, so perhaps that scares many away. They don't look like they would do very well in the mud, but otherwise how are they? I'm just looking for some feedback on them.

That's interesting, some how they look larger than the 215/85 Dunlop Radial Rover R/Ts on my classic. Maybe the tread width is wider. I was looking at the XPS because aside from the Firestone MT they are the only other option in that size.

Do you and Ho have 235/85's on your Discos? It looks like other than 7.50 that's the only other size.

I have them, 235-85 on my disco. they have been doing great out here in AZ, they are pretty tuff and i havent torn any lugs off yet. the carcass is great, steel belted sidewall an all that. i can see how in the snow they might be a bit hard, but i am trying to avoid cold weather for a while.

seems like they are wearing like iron, too.
