A rib on a burger?

I wonder if it's any good.

Has anyone had this yet?

I know how to get the guns and the glass, but how does one get that bottle? I drool every time I see that bottle.

You'll see a 1999 replica pop up on eBay from time-to-time. They sell for about $400......empty. The original was from 1982. It's called the Blade Runner bottle.

Rumor has it a 2017 Blade Runner edition bottle will be released in October.

I saved a search for that bottle. We'll see what turns up. I'd pay $400 for a good bottle in good shape if it turned up.

I saw this one sold recently: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Blade-Runner...p2047675.l2557

Note the imperfections and how much more rounded the glass is than the bottle in the pic above. I probably would have skipped on this bottle at this price.

Dan,

Any love on this bar cart?:

I've been shopping for bar carts lately and I thought of you when I saw that one. If you're interested, it's $1400 here:

I don't really have a need for a bar cart. I opt'ed for the whole bar. My bar is in the garage. Inside the house we live very simply with minimum furniture or clutter. Beside a television, there is only one piece on the walls which is a clock I got my wife as an anniversary gift. And besides a few mid-century collectibles we only have bare-bones furniture inside the house.

When I visit other people homes we typically congregate in the kitchen. My wife and I are both kind of anal about how we take care of our house and cringe when someone does not use a coaster or lets their kids bump the wall when rocking in our rocking chair. So when folks visit our house we congregate in the garage around the bar. I don't have cable TV so we watch Martha Stewart and Cheaters and have drinks and their kids throw rocks in the driveway.

That's a sweet cart, though. I could use a cart just like that in my garage kitchen to hold a heavy appliance I do not use often such as a buffalo chopper, meat slicer or stand mixer. $1,400 is steep.

I was really digging that bar cart but in the end I chickened out and got this utterly conventional cart:

I hope it works out.

Bar cart landed today:

I like it.

I threw on some stuff I had handy, but I have to play around with the layout and stock it:

I impressed my wife a few weeks ago by pulling a bottle of JD out of the safe. She was bummed that we were out and then Shazam, who's your daddy?
