True badger hair brushes tend to stink for the first few uses anyway. Use it at home before taking it on the road to wash all the stink out.

I need to re-read this thread as my shaving is a disaster. Shitty Gillette Mach Whatever and sensitive skin are not a good match.

Shaving in the shower helps, but I need a good post-shave balm/cream/elixir/magic potion.

You need a pre-shave routine. Soak a washcloth under very hot water, then hold the washcloth on your face for a few minutes, then apply shaving cream and shave.

I am, as well. In a way the upkeep of the beard is more of a nuisance than just shaving it.

I've tried a handful, but like Burt's Bees the best.

LOL. A beard is what happens when you stop with the upkeep. I think you are doing it wrong.

Nah, just trimming the edges with a razor and keeping the length under control with a Wahl trimmer so I don't look like I should be making duck calls.

Check out the look on the Dark Knight's face. He actually thinks his beard build is cool.

It's really fucking annoying that the TSA won't let you bring safety razor blades on planes.
What kind of stupid shit is that?
