I love these Lotto pools. I'm in. Ho just went to the local liquor store to pick up his and my tickets. Come on guys, if you don't play you can't win.

That Range Rover Experience has me jacked up. I want a Mk3 badly now. Before the Mk3 was nice, but this 2007 model is now the true Land Rover flagship in every manner. I even went through the Rangie brochure and picked out exactly which Mk3 I want. I want the Zermatt Silver Supercharged model with the sand interior and the Burled Walnut wood trim. I would change out the pimp Supercharged grills with the standard HSE grills and it would be a sweet ride.

I know exactly which Rangie I want. The only hurdle now is the cash. Hence the Lotto.

OK-I'll play. I'll buy local and fax over.

Make mine plain-jane HSE with Tonga Green Pearlescent paint and Sand seats and carpet and Walnut trim.

Oh, forgot to mention I would fit the standard HSE tail lights. Those Supercharged tail lights are hideous.

Toss in a Sub while I'm at it. Rangie and Sub.

I'd still go with a platinum president. would go so nice against that piano black lacquer interior and black leather.

I just checked, and there doesn't seem to be an all black interior.

I think I'd go with the Luxury Interior in Navy with Burled walnut:

I just priced out the HSE and Supercharged Mk3s on Land Rover USA's site.

The HSE starts at $77,250. Then add $4,000 for the 20" wheels and performance tires, $500 for the rear locker, and $5,000 for the luxury interior package. That comes to $86,700. The only option I didn't get was the interior DVD system, which I can't stand. I think it's degenerate.

The Supercharged has all of the above-listed options (except the DVD system) as standard. The DVD system is the only available option for the Supercharged. My dream Supercharged came out to $92,750.

That's only a $6,000 difference between the loaded HSE and the Supercharged. And the Supercharged has the Brembo front brakes, a different gearbox, and the blower. There are obviously different trim pieces on the Supercharged like the pimp accelerator and brake pedals, the chrome tips on the exhaust, etc. And I'm guessing there are other miscellaneous differences.

I'll take the Supercharged. I'm sure the dealer or some HSE owner would be willing to swap the pimp Supercharged grills and tail lights for free.

If I'm going to dream, I might as well dream big. I want the Supercharged.

I want the dateless Sub too:

I would order the Oyster Flip Lock bracelet with solid end links for this watch. I think the Dateless Sub still comes with the hollow end links.

Exterior:

Interior:

The 2007 models have the iPod interface, so I would score some iPod and load it with opera. Just imagine driving that sweet machine with some Puccini love on the sound system.

OK, I just asked Ho to get me another 10 tickets.

Enough people are getting in on the action that I don't want to get diluted too much. If we win, I want to win enough that I don't feel guilty blowing $100,000 on a car.

John,

You win the lotto and I bet that Eva would be willing to go for a ride in your new MKIII.

The MK is a fantastic platform.

Aaaah, Eva riding in the Rangie with me. It's a fiction, but a very pleasant fiction.

Here's the revised dream:

Exterior:

Interior:

Passenger:

The 2007 models have the iPod interface, so I would score some iPod and load it with opera. Just imagine driving that sweet machine with some Puccini love on the sound system and Eva in the passenger seat.

I don't wear a watch, but that dateless Rolex Submariner could change that. Very classy.

I assume they are no longer available new? I could not find one at first glance on rolex.com.

I don't know if Rolex has discontinued the dateless Sub. That Rolex site sucks big time.

But even if that were true, new-in-the-box dateless Subs are everywhere.

Get it. With your lotto winnings.

Come on in and join the pool. If we win you will get much more than a damn Sub.
