I've known women who bitch less than some of those guys. And what's the deal with Dendy? He's grinding an axe that would make Paul Bunyan look like a midget. I guess I need to do some searching.

Eddy Merckx becomes first member of Giro d’Italia Hall of Fame:
http://road.cc/content/news/54789-ed...his-tips-milan I love this pic: Quote:
The machine is at least one of Merckx's Hour Record machines. It may or may not be THE Hour Record Machine. I wish they hadn't removed the pedals and bar tape from this bike. It looks raped like that. The saddle is also tipped down for whatever reason. Merckx never rode with his saddle like that. Not ever. Right behind the saddle with the purple tie is Ernesto Colnago. I think that's Gianni Motta on the far right. To the left of the woman is Ugo De Rosa. De Rosa built Merckx's Fiat bikes and helped him get started with the Eddy Merckx bike company: I don't recognize the others in attendance. |

I love this pic of the winning break in the 1975 Paris-Roubaix:
Left to right are Demeyer, Dierickx, de Vlaeminck, and Merckx. There are only two types of cyclists: (1) Belgian; and (2) those who wish they were Belgian. |
