What is your username there? I'll take a look before I get banned for calling out hilldweller for playing the cancer card and trying to use a kid with cancer to make himself look better.

Nothing shows you as banned, but they may not go in for that over there.

I'll pony up for the Volcano. And I'll give a real review, none of this pussy back-slapping, double thumbs up, yes-man bullshit.

Yes!

I'm hoping to see a review thread on that Volcano and possibly even a build thread.

Bill, build out that rig and then sell it when the build is done.

Fat Cletus thought this was a great idea until he actually went offroading and the Poseurlanding LyfeStyle mountain bikes got torn off.

Come to think of it, I think I hate literally everything in that photo.

I hate those Toyotas with that pathetic TRD Off Road stickers on the back. TRD spells TuRD. Why would anyone want a big TuRD on the side of his car?

I hate tinted windows.

I hate those suspended mountain bikes with their douchebag styling and Corey pedals and saddle bag that looks like a giant scrotum when the rider is sitting on the saddle.

I hate those Rotopax fuel containers.

I hate those nerf bar rock sliders. They're so degenerate. Losers love them.

I hate those swingaway wheel/jerrycan/jack/box carriers. Every one of those things I've seen was a giant lever and was rattling or peeling away from the vehicle.

I hate rooftop tents.

I hate trailers.

I hate the giantt OFFROAD sticker on the side of the doors.

I hate those poseur fake beadlock wheels.

I hate all-terrain tires. If you're going try to look all outdoorsy, get the mud tires. If your poseurlanding takes you only as far as Dennis The Menace Park, go with street tires. All-Terrain tires are for people who want to look rugged but are afraid of offroad tires.

Yes, I'll tell the overlanding world that, while I have enjoyed my time with the Volcano fire pit cooker thing, I am going in a different direction and I must regrettably part with it to fund new projects.

They look fun like a tree house is fun when you're 12. I get the fun part of it. They don't look like fun in the wind, when the truck is not perfectly level, or in the rain when you want to run out in the middle of the night. I've never been attacked by a bear who is afraid of heights, so I couldn't possibly comment on the "safety" part of being off the ground.

The lawyer in me wonders how often the manufacturers get sued when someone has a rollover because they have 400lbs worth of rack and tent at the tippy-top of their lifted truck.

The Volcano has been ordered off of Amazon. To get the one with the "3 fuel" capability (i.e. to include the propane burner) the cost was $160. Of course the propane connection is only for the 20 lb overlanding tank so I had to spend another $8 to get the adapter for the smaller camping bottles. Add some tax and we're $180 all in.

I also just realized that Amazon Prime changed their delayed shipping credit - you used to be able to elect non-urgent shipping and you'd get a $5 credit to your account. I used delayed shipping on a new family tent and some camping cookware that I ordered last week. Was hoping to see a $10 credit today. But now you get a $5 credit for some new bullshit called Amazon Prime Now. Looks like a version of Amazon light that has a limited selection of shit to choose from. Sucks...that $5 credit was like them paying you to ship your shit to you. Fuckers.

Check out this guy: http://forum.expeditionportal.com/th...-Propane-Setup

He probably sold it to bankroll a Skottle.

It's too bad that we've been using shitty image hosts because the photos are now gone.

Steak sauce is lowbrow, so don't put it on your steaks. Instead, use hipster hip gourmet gojuchang for that carne pura flavor:

http://www.thefoodhussy.com/2015/09/...teak-with.html

If you watch cooking shows, you know how trendy gojuchang is. It's everywhere. Gojuchang is chili powder, sugar, and soybeans, and it's partially rotten (aka "fermented"). But gojuchang is good on steaks while steak sauce is bad.

The beauty of gojuchang is:

(1) It's Korean, so you've probably never heard of it.
(2) It's Korean, so you can't pronounce it.
(3) It's Korean, and steak is American, so it's a best of both worlds fusion.
(4) It's Korean, so you have to like it or you're a racist (and probably a misogynist too).

The rib-eye is arguably the tastiest meat in a cow - and it usually takes nothing beyond salt and pepper to make it beautiful. Ouch.

Porterhouse with Balsamic Steak Sauce:

http://www.foodnetwork.com/recipes/f...recipe-2103686

Note the balsamic sauce's ingredients:

Quote:
To make the sauce, simmer 3/4 cup balsamic vinegar, 2/3 cup ketchup, 1/4 cup honey, 2 sliced shallots, 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce, 1 tablespoon dijon mustard, 1/4 teaspoon allspice, and salt, pepper and sugar to taste until thickened, about 15 minutes. Strain, then whisk in some butter.

So, let me get this right. Balsamic-Worcestershire reduction is "good", but A1 is "bad"? It wouldn't surprise me at all of that secret sauce tasted just like A1 or any other steak sauce.

I like this one:

Homeboy even talks shit about steak sauce:

Quote:
Take a simply seasoned steak and top it with this creamy hearty mushroom sauce. The mushrooms take on the Bourbon and garlic flavor making the mushrooms a great addition to the dish. And no need for any bottled steak sauce! You have a homemade dipping sauce right here to sop up with that steak. And Iím telling you, this is easy to make. Trust me.

Don't get me wrong. That creamy mushroom topping on that steak is looking good. I would eat it no problem and enjoy it. My point is that somehow that Beef Stroganoff concoction is "good" but steak sauce is "bad"? No way, I call bullshit.
