I am feeling the white DI love...

I almost want to find as many ultra-clean DI 5-speeds as I can find, and put them in storage. My DI still remains unmodified in my driveway - well, I did add some LR Genuine Mats

The middle picture though aint too bad. I gotta hand it to a guy who is trying to make the best out of what he has. At least he's out enjoying his truck.

I still like these two the best:

Remember the old Discus DiscoWeb days when we had flame wars about the Tasco of Germany?

Aaah, the memories...

Epic.

That pic of the pistols started a whole flame war on discoweb just by itself. Something along the line of "Why would you ever need something like that? I think it's a bad image for offroaders."

"Tasco of Germany" was good stuff.
I still like Breitling Navitimer vs Speedy Pro.

"That watch looks like a Breitling engineer threw up all over the dial"

"Good to know that even though I can't wear that watch in the shower, it's ready for space travel."

here's another one from the rookie days. The days in which suspension travel was everything. Chris Hinkle's Defender could ramp something like 250,000.

But instead of "evolving"... he's no longer around.

It's funny that you should post that hummer clip, because Ho and I were strolling down DiscoWeb Memory Lane this afternoon and we were talking about that hummer.

John: "Do you remember that vid with the hummer guy on the ramp?"

Ho: "You mean that one chump who rolled his hummer and then started giving high fives to make it look like he did it on purpose?"

John: "Yeah, that chump."

Yeah I think the twist off event was in full effect back then. Hi fives and the crowd cheers. I was rolling with super long ranchos and rockware cones and mounts. What a pile of shit that truck was.

I also remember Ho's story about his white stocker disco with lockers walking up some steep hill and blowing the jeepers guys minds. I think ho was inspired by a bronco or samurai that had done the same thing a year earlier to him.

It looks like there were passengers in that H1.

I can't believe the guy's first instinct isn't to check on his passengers. He casually strolls over to the crowd and starts high fiving the idiots who think it's really cool that his truck has rolled on its side.

What a loser.
