You could have some fabbed up pretty easily if you wanted, locally as well. It looks like split shaft collars were welded to a length of 1" inside diameter pipe and then add on whatever attachment you need(i.e. angle iron, bolt...)

McMaster-Carr sells the split shaft collars for cheap.

Thanks, we are (as your folks should be) safe. The fire is NE of us and we were never in any real danger. We were, however, downwind of the fire and needed to get out of the house because of the air quality.

I saw that.
I wonder if he still has the CT rack.
I thought I remembered that the RN truck had the SD roll cage too.

I definitely think it's a sweet truck.

Looks like I was wrong about it having the roll cage, but it's still very nice.
If it were a GEMS truck it would be close to my perfect NAS disco.

I like this truck.

It was obviously inspired by the Camel Trophy Discos, but it falls short of a Camel Trophy wannabe machine. The hood isn't blacked out and the Camel Trophy decals aren't there.

My primary criticisms are:

(1) I wish he didn't color match the snorkel. I think the snorkel looks better black. I could do without the zip ties as well.

(2) The tires. I wish he had XCL, XL, or XZL tires instead of the All-Terrains.

But these are nitpicks. The truck is sweet.

Yesterday the 110 went on a very special grocery run.

Will Tillery had sent me a complete early NAS Disco1 Delta Airlines Edition interior.

Steve Rupp had alerted me that Will was selling this set and I jumped on it.
I owe Steve and Will big time.

Check out the condition of these seats:

Will said the seats were an 8 out of 10. He didn't lie.
The bolsters are like new.

And the door cards are just as good:

There's no matching the funkyness of this pattern:

I really scored here.
Thank you, Steve and Will.

I gave my brother grief on that. My XD has a slightly ripped rear seat and for some reason he reached out to Jack instead of me.

That setup would have been so damn nice in my XD. Nice score Jack.

Safe to assume then that you're resurrecting the Disco after it's submersion in the wash? I hope so.

No way, man. That truck is fucking dead. It aint coming back.
It's sad, but that's the way it is.

I've been looking for it's replacement and trying to find a truck with cloth was really making the search impossible. Very few of them have it and most of them are trashed. It seems backwards but it was actually easier to buy the interior first and then go find my truck.
Now I can pick up any clean white GEMS Disco1. It doesn't have to be a SD and I don't care what the seats look like.

A funny side note: Sinuhe, Steve Bernard and I have now all looked at the same truck on the same lot in West Hollywood. I think it's been there for over a year now.

Can you imagine if those seat-back trays like the P38s had were an option on Disco1?
That would be too much.

I checked this one while I was down in Portland. It was all I can do not to claw at the tint with my fingers. Washington and Oregon is typically so bright I don't know how I get through the day.

I know you wanted a GEMS but I had to inlcude this one as well. I'm going to head up to Everett after work and check this one.
