Now that's just not fair.....

...we left town, headed for the Rally, and found magnificent scenery along the way."

Hell, all I found was Nebraska.

You guys missed the usual crowd along with rain, snow, hail, lightning, etc.

That old white Disco came up from ABQ and performed quite admirably for such an old gal!

So basically they got the last good trail run and then paved it.
Booo.

The exit angle on that Model T is pretty awesome.

Sinuhe,

How did you handle the major riving crossings? Are there any options besides the ferry at Hall's Crossing and backtracking to paved roads? Was the Roost section an out-and-back from Hanksville?

No out and back into Robbers Roost... All the way down to Hite, where you cross the Colorado. You are only on pavement for 5-6 miles over the bridge...

Nice. I guess it's time to organize a come-one-come-all spring 2012 trip.

I've been reviewing all of the southern Utah trip threads lately. It's been almost three years since I was there. It'll likely be another few years before I can make it back again. Even then I'll have only about ten or eleven days to roam.
