DII Lug Nuts - Impact Gun Socket

I swap out the alloys and ATs for Disco Steel rims and MTs for the trail. I've got a DeWalt electric impact gun and would like to get the proper size alloy lug nut socket to fit the DII's lugs to make the swap easier. Do the tire shop guys use some sort of torque / extender to prevent over tightening with their air guns? Any advice?

The D2's alloy lug nuts are 17/16", just like the D1's lug nuts. Because the D2's lug nuts have a metric thread, I'm guessing the correct socket size for the lug nuts is 27mm, but I prefer to use 17/16" because I think it's a little better fit.

I wouldn't rely on the impact tool to torque the lug nuts on. I use the impact wrench to snug the lug nuts up and then use a 18" breaker bar to finish torquing them on by feel.

I've always found the 34/32" socket to fit best

Got a 27mm deep impact socket from Sears Craftsman. Works perfectly.
