Did the XD get new paint? What happened to the rack? I don't know if you guys know or not, but I've got the original "low" rack off that truck, and the "high" rack from my truck was installed onto that truck.

Dan, I suspected it was you who robbed me of having a low rack. Yes, it did get new paint. The Florida sun really torched the paint. Fortunately, only the paint was messed up; the body was otherwise in good shape.

Greg, our trip was on and around the Mountain Loop Highway, which is southeast of Darrington.

It was a fun trip. I think next time I'll head over to Eastern WA where the air is much less humid and the snow is fluffier.
