Question for John and/or 90 owners

There's a nasty high pitched squeak coming from the front of my 90 that seems to be body panel or bonnet related, not mechanical and doesn't seem to be in the dash. I have greased or lubed every piece of the bonnet and yet the squeak persists. Short of turning up the radio and putting the top back on, what gives?

Anyone report finding and solving a squeak like this?

Hmmm. Might it be some dirt wedged between the wing and some other body panel? Or the roll cage? No idea really.

sorry if I'm teaching you to suck eggs but the bonnet hinges on defenders are known for squeaking. have you lubed these?
