An Elegant And Very Thoughtful Mod For The Disco2

Craig came by the shop on Saturday and we did a little cosmetic surgery on his Disco2. Here is the result:

This mod is very easy to do, requires only a T25 Torx bit to accomplish in the way of tools, and is totally reversible. The mod also greatly lessens the Whiskey Tango look of the Disco2.

What do you think?

Unfortunately, removing the wheel arches doesn't really change anything. The Disco2 is still incompatible with the BushViper Conversion.

It's seen it's share of dirt this summer.

It's amazing what a little TLC can do to a Disco.

Those pics all seem to be of the driver's side. You're not trying to hide anything are you?

I'm not proud of the carnage on the other side, unlinke many other Disco owners.

Does anyone know if I can retrofit 1995 headlamps onto my 2001 D2?

Any chance you can do a side by side pic comparison?

This is about the best side-to-side comparison I can do. I think you can easily see the differences. To me, the difference is night and day.

Ron,

I would like to call you an idiot, but your not, you just don't have the knowledge yet.

If I didn't modify my watts linkage then everytime I hit a rock or bump then my rear would bottom out because I have lifted my disco 5". I can honestly tell you that having my rear bottom out evertime I did something would bug me and It wouldn't make sense to drive it around everyday. But because I care I have modified that area of the disco so that I don't have that problem.

BTW: I will post pictures and desribe what I did when I get my friends digital camera.

PS: From back in the day

Ahhh, yes.... "back in the day". I have a few pics from the paper plate days...

Unfortunately, none of my truck sitting in the driveway.

And the moral of this story is:

Don't drink and drive.

No need to wait for your friends digital camera. Just start of by telling us what you did and then you can worry about following up with pics later.

Look at this as an opportunity to gain credibility.

I think BushViper is still trying to figure out where the watts linkage is so he can take the picture.
