From The Earth To The Moon

Did anybody catch that miniseries on TNT called "From the Earth to the Moon?" It's about the Moon landings, and the series starts with the Mercury program, and then goes all the way through Gemini and Apollo as well. It ends with the Apollo XVII moonwalk.

The miniseries is made by the same people who made Apollo 13, so this series has the same feel. It's basically a very long Apollo 13. I watched all 12 episodes yesterday and it was a good miniseries. Definitely worth watching.

I'm sure TNT will air it again in the next few days. Catch an episode or two if you can.

Have it at home... only available on dvd I think. Worth the money.

By the way, met Bill Burke at MAR this weekend. Great guy, y'all are lucky to have him come by the shop. He's sure to be entertaining and informative.

I think this documentary looks interesting too:

Check out that cast. Sounds pretty authentic.

I watched those a few years back on HBO. Good stuff, I was hooked from the first episode. But then again I can sit and watch the live NASA feed for hours on end and be amused. Now if I could just get my hands on some Aero Gel...
