Nice plate frames Han. I'll be doing the same, new 04 to be in my driveway any day now. Silver on black. Who's next for the last of the disco?

damn jaymon... that's awesome. couldn't be a better time to get one now. yeah the lic plate frame... i think not enough white SE7 in the market now and found one in newport.

gentlemen, if you haven't driven an 04... test drive one. i don't know but it has been 2 year since i sold my 00 and this might just be my impression... LR has made a lot of changes that make it a much refined disco.

did i say that the 4.6 is very nice. no?
yeah the 4.6 is very nice.

0% 48 months or 0.9% 60 months still avail thru jan/05 i think.

Thumbs up

ok...here I am just surfin the internet....and for some reason my ears start burning.....Must be John or Craig doing some fender flare talk again.......Suck!, I think to myself.....where can I hide my beautiful speciman of EE prepared(<----sucking up) land rover metal from the evil Torx25 bit???? Then I begin to think "I hope they don't know where I live".....Then I realize that Aaron is a heat sink for the fender flare trash talk since his have been on soooooooooooo long...After all give a guy a chance not to like them first, right?!?! Then I get smart and realize it all comes down to a F@#$@#ING dinner! After ICS, I shouda known food was somehow behind this evil plot.......

Ok...so long story short...let's just say I show up for Bill Burke's family album show and I was to leave the Disco, let's say parked somewhere out of my view, and just for kicks let's just say someone near might have a raging hard-on for Snap-On tools, especially the ones that rhyme with Forks and start with a "T" and have a cute little "25" on them......what do you think would happen???? Now I'm just saying what if??? We'll see how closely Craig can keep an eye on the evil John Lee on Thursday!!! I have a feeling John owes me part of an appetizer!!! Hey Aaron, if you know what's good for your Disco, don't park next to me.....there might be some funny business going on!!!

Geez....just thinkin', but I wonder if they look at that bare TJM, if they'll throw on a superwinch out of pity too!!!!

Stay tuned.....

Hey Han.......that thing is beautiful.....got some ideas for you

Doug, I think we'll be too busy to remove your flares without your seeing us, but we can also do a T25 session after the slide show if you want. Shouldn't take very long at all.

doug, indeed you have a fine specimen. keep it clean. your white 04 SE7 is proly the cleanest i'v seen. well except for the self adjusting rack flooring...

and the 6 spoke alloys... very nice...

from what i see though just hold out a little longer and i'm sure you'd be able to get a good deal on an 04.
resist the force or go w/ the force... either way it's an awesome car for the price.

greg, garage sale?

As a joke, I brought home the new LR3 and told my wife I had just dropped $50,000 and traded in my D2...

Han, while I love the '04, I think I would have a hard time parting with my '01 after all the time and money I've poured into it....

Might try the fender flare thing though... how much of a pain in the ass is it to get the tape off??

Doug

I say give the fender flare thing a try. The foam tape is not too hard to take off.

While I think you will really like the look of the Disco without the fender flares, you can always put them back on.

Ron recently removed his fender flares and put them back on. I'm sure he can give you some pointers on how to make it look tip top if you don't like the "no-wheel-arch" look.

OUCH...Han.....below the belt....I couldn't help but test out Koby's theory on the flooring.....Call it desparate and lack of time for fabricating...that, and I'm still waitin for Ho to release his super secret, tough, indesctructo, no warping, weight supporting, solar powered, but still gettin stuck in da sand, ....flooring!!! Ok Han, while nobody's reading this,,,whats the tip for pulling the flares off??? Do tell.

LOL sorry about the blow ... couldn't resist... LOL

anyways i think you have the prerequisite to do the flare thing... mr fireman... strong fingers and pulling power... and offcourse the T25.

anyways, what's the deal w/ the alloys man. lemme know.

hey john, 2 white discos down 3 to go(unless Al is hiding something). countdown starts... i think a lot of these guys are just scared to do it. it's just a simple cosmetic change. cuz they don't know what the result would be after the flares are off. the thing is that different colors can look better than others. we know that blenheim silver and white is the shit w/o it. obviously from the list john mentioned, the 03 silver is the only one we are waiting to see results from.
