Fan of Citroen/Loeb. Sad to see Sainz retire. I also have an "Arizona Cardinals" urge to see Skoda do well.

I'm in Solberg's camp, my 8-year-old is rooting for Loeb. Wish McRae could get back in, but I think his time has passed.

Speaking of wishes, will somebody please put an IMax 70mm cam in each of the cars for a season, and give us a big-screen thrill!!

TT, the Rim of the World Rally is May 7 and 8. I'm putting together another team of Rovers this year to run safety sweep after each stage. Want to join us?

Email me dwalker at camdenfinancial dot com.

Old rally cars....

I own a 81 Renault 5 turbo.

I love the old renault r5, peugeot 205, ford rs... and so on. And of course, you can't leave out Porsche 959.

My R5 Turbo, compared to today's Mitsu's and Subaru's, is crude and slow.... and some kids think I put a cheap body kit on a old Le Car

My car looks very much like this one without the Gotti wheels and the chin spoiler

I would have liked to see some of the big truck action but there were no U.S. representation there so, no luck. And there were other points like covering a 17-19 day race in 5, not, that bit also. I liked in the prevoius years in that they focused on the adventure and the large and openess of the desert and african bush and not crash highlights like NASCAR which I won't even get into.

I could go on but in makes me sad

I agree. There should have been much more motorbike coverage, big trucks and just general race coverage. Not just the stages best crashes. Instead OLN spends time with shows like Inside NASCAR (or whatever it's called) where they talk about who's screwing who's girlfriend in the NASCAR world and who has an ingrown toenail on their throttle foot so we don't know if the car will still drive in circles commentary.

Nice... my 83' Turbo 2 with a stage II Renaultsport kit, made over 200 horse, not bad for a 1.4 LTR.
