Need Source for Defender Key Blanks

The local dealer (Pasadena) essentially told me they couldn't supply replacement key blanks for my '94 D-90. Has anyone purchased key blanks from US-based lock & key outfits or should I be looking in the UK?

thanks,
-Nadir

Rovers North and Rovers Down South both stock them.

Thank you, Mark. I'll head over there for some.

I just was looking at the Rovers Down South web site (www.roversdownsouth.com) and saw the key blanks for $5.00 each.

don't know if you're looking for the door key or the ignition? I've bought the door key from George at RDS; however, they were not OEM. They had a pattern to the key unlike the smooth LR ones. I did buy them just over a year ago from a dealer in NY. The ignition key should be easy to find, RDS has them for sure.

Our '97 ignition key looks to be the same blank as the '80 Rover SD1, which I believe was the same as a TR7 ?!

Probably not much help tho'
