Oh yeah, I remember those official, special, limited-edition Scuderia Ferrari Facom sets:

http://www.ultimategarage.com/Facom/facfer2.html

These sets were so special, only 1400 sets were made. The USA got only 200 sets, so as not to hog the lot. One set was even presented to Michael Schumacher, and I'm sure it holds a very special place in his heart. Scuderia Ferrari actually used these tools.

These tools were so kick ass that not enough people were worthy of purchasing them. Now these tools are available at places like overstock.com and The Sharper Image.

Are you implying that Ferrari is a trademark-whore?

Actually I do not believe Scuderia Ferrari ever used Facom tools. USAG (an Italian company) has for years been the brand used by the factory AFAIK which was owned by Facom and which I think are all now owned by the giant Stanley Tools.

Perhaps there will be a Scuderia Ferrari MAC tool line.

Well, there's the Ferrari Olympus:

"Your Vision, Our Future."

The Ferrari Acer:

It has 12 cylinders.

The Ferrari Vertu:

Love the shift gate. Like you're supposed to shift this thing. The next model will have the F1 paddles.

The Ferrari Facom:

With cupholders.

The Ferrari Panerai:

It's thin and sleek, just like a real Ferrari.

You forgot the Ferrari Puma's.

Obviously all are worthy of the Ferrari name.

The pic I posted is of the Beta tools.

I do believe the F1 team used Facom tools for a while although they no longer do.

I have a bunch of Ferrari t-shirts. I'm not ashamed.

I know you can afford a Ferrari that is a little "bigger" than that.

The Ferrari baby seat:

Actually, I'm digging that seat. It's even got the Sabelts. If it had the carbon fiber back it would be awesome.

CBS News hits the Ferrari factory:

I love how the clip opens with "Un bel di" from Madama Butterfly.

There's some more "Nessun Dorma" love here as well:

Puccini and Ferrari. What a killer combo. Drama. Passion. Love. Lust. Beauty. Power. Ambition. Pride. It's all there.
