This sounds a lot like the caucasoid golfer who refused a Rolex from his Korean wife's family.

It's never too much $. You're worth it, baby.

It's hideous.

the jubilee bracelet is so rolex. if i see a jubilee i think rolex. the pepsi bezel GMT is far from "hideous" or ugly. but putting the two together would not be my first choice. regardless... it's your call.

feel the love either way.

get it man. there's no turning back now.

My Grand Master Plan to get Aaron into a Rolex may have backfired.

All of this Rolex talk and love have me pumped up now.

I may have to pull the trigger on that Jubilant Pepsi. I'm really feeling it on that watch.

Wow. The store will be pumped. Greg, Aaron, John, Won and Ho walk in and BOOM one Explorer, one Jubilant Pepsi and one Sub/GMT are sold and one gold Sub is traded for a stainless Sub.

Check out the stamped Oyster bracelet on that one. I'm kinda digging it. It's very Wehrmacht.

Oh no! I thought drug dealers were supposed to stay out of their own stash?

The thing is, if you have two do you really have one? That might not make sense, but I've noticed that since I've had two Rovers, my "bond" with each of them isn't as much as it would be if I just had the one.

I know there are guys who have multiple nice watches, but isn't there something to be said for having a singular relationship with a nice watch?

Well, I've fallen into the Han Chung trap. I have my Moon Watch, which I love. Then I'll have the Jubilant Pepsi. If I ever get married, I'll score myself a Sub. A little different from Han's scenario, but not by much. The Moon Watch and Sub will be classics and the Jubilant Pepsi will be the black sheep.

There's bound to be less of a bond with each piece once my total amount of love is diluted among three watches. But I think that's inevitable.

dilution? No, I think it'll be the other way. Look at Han, he went back to his GMT with passion. Later he will go back to his speedy with even more passion.

Rob Davison was telling me that with more, there only comes more love.

Rob says that's the way it was meant to be.

Spread the love.

Oh, have any of you guys noticed Rob's picture all over the papers lately?

What's up with that?

She did not offer to do the same with the $$ I dropped on her ring!

We sold that house a few years ago but I'm sure I would still have the watch if I had kept it then.

Greg, now you and I suffer from high-bore axis AND low watch status.

One day, a Buddhist Monk named I-hsiu took his young student to go to town to do some business. As they approached a small river, they saw a beautiful girl walking back and forth looking very concerned.

"Miss", asked I-hsiu, "you look very concerned. What is troubling you?"

"I want to cross the river to visit my father who is very sick, but the bridge has fallen and washed away. Where is the next nearest bridge?"

"The next closest one is very far away. But, don't worry, I will carry you across the river."

I-hsiu carried the girl on his back and walked across the river. Once they reached the other side, he put her down and, saying farewell to each other, they went on their separate ways.

Observing the whole thing, the young student was rather uneasy. He thought, "the Master taught us that women are man-eating tigers, yet today he carried a beautiful girl on his back across a river! That does not make any sense. Doesn't the Lord Buddha teach us to keep a distance from a strange girl?"

Over the next several months, the whole thing still bothered the student. Finally, the student could stand it no longer. The student raised the issue with I-hsiu.

Upon hearing this, I-hsiu replied, "I put down the girl after crossing the river. Are you still carrying her?"
