Yuck. Yuck. Yuck.

To get you two brothers back on track, here's an elegant rendition of Voi Che Sapete:

cuz the damn LA Opera parking is 6'-6" ... LOL.

we should pick a nice opera or musical and go do it. maybe we can crash DWP's parking lot... LOL... of course after gumi.

c'mon john... USA for Africa has to bring some memories.

I'm not sure I could sit through an opera, but I'm up for it.

Bring back memories? You want some flashback action? For you Super Dimension Fortress Macross fans, the entire Macross Flashblack 2012 is also on You Tube. Because of length, it's broken down into two parts. Part One:

Part Two:

I dig that one. I'm getting the KCET Pledge Drive feeling.

OK, this is crazy. The same homeboy who uploaded Macross Flashback uploaded the entire Macross movie, in eight different parts. Here's Part One:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cGFLWpGyIB0

It's subtitled for the Non Les Japs. Watch the entire movie if you dare. But be careful. Macross blows away Star Trek and Battlestar Gallactica. It's not even close.

hehe... i don't know about the macross deal. we didn't have much of that stuff when i was a kid.

but classical guitar is something...

you can go from bossa nova...

Antonio Carlos Jobim and Andy Williams... better performance than w/ Sinatra, i think.

to carmen w/o any problems...

Aragonaise from Carmen

Habanera from Carmen

great instrument.

Here's a better version of Music of the Night:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5V7XaFn_0rI

These lyrics are new to me, as I'm accustomed to the recorded Phantom lyrics. But these lyrics are sweet too. I wish the video were of a real performance, but beggars can't be choosers.

Good song. All I can think about when I hear it is The Sopranos.

Listening to Andrea Bocelli always reminds me of one of my favorite little Italian restaurants, Garduno's in Costa Mesa. They play his CD's there often as background music.

I remember receiving a GI Joe when I was a kid. He made a great target for my Webley pellet gun. lol

Lea Salonga is awesome, I saw her in Miss Saigon.
So John, despite her being Filipino is she considered Asian? (on going debate between John and I about Filipinos)
