What do you think it's worth, assuming that all systems need a thorough overhaul? The interior was not in the greatest shape either. The paint job is pretty good and has a nice patina. From what the mechanic was saying, I'm assuming that the owner is dropping a few grand into it for shit like brakes & wiring. I have no idea what condition the motor & drivetrain is in.

I think I might give them a call and sniff around some more...

Who knows? But assuming it's a carbureted 3.5 V8 with an LT-85 four speed gearbox and it runs and all the shit more or less works I'd say $7500 should get it. I might go as high as $10,000 if it looked good and I was really wanting it. They aren't easy to come by...

Maybe Greg has a better idea.

Alone in the Wilderness is a great story. I had the local bookstore order a copy of his book after I caught the last half of PBS show about him. Definitely worth finding a copy of the book.

Pakistani paramilitary soldiers cordon off a street during an operation against criminal gangs in a troubled area of Karachi early on August 24, 2011. Pakistani politicians, industrialists and citizens stepped up calls for the army to intervene to quell violence destabilising Karachi, where more than 100 have been killed in a week. Ethnic and criminal violence blamed on gangs has killed 101 people in the last week, the latest bout in the worst criminal and ethnic violence to hit Pakistan's largest city and financial capital for 16 years.
