The hexagonal head shape lets the user direct the light output in whatever direction he wishes, as well as prevents the Freedom-Lite from rolling away when set down on inclines. The rubber handle and hexagonal head prevent the Freedom-Lite from scratching work surfaces and provide a firm grip even with greasy hands.
The Freedom-Lite comes standard with a smart charger. Only one hour is required to charge the battery completely.
To recharge the Freedom-Lite, simply plug the charger's cord into the Freedom-Lite's base. The "smart-charge" feature also lets you keep your Freedom-Lite plugged in when not in use without fear of damaging the battery.
